English Holiday Cruises - Application Process
Here's how we manage our application process.
We get hundreds of applicants for our positions and we are a small family company so we have to be very specific about how applications are made, and how we consider them, to be fair to everyone. Have a look below so you can see what to expect.
Applications are received online
We only accept applications submitted to us via this website or partner websites with our application form embedded. All candidates regardless of the position they are applying for must apply in this way using our online application form and by attaching their CV.
Confirmation of application
You will receive a confirmation email when you have successfully submitted your application. Further details and a job description will be provided in the email. We may email you asking for further details or will let you know within five working days if you are being asked to progress your application. If you do not hear from us within five working days then your application was unsuccessful.
Online or WhatsApp Interview
We will email you to arrange a suitable time for an interview over the phone, by WhatsApp or by using our own hosted webinar. During that interview, we can provide more information about the role and question you about your skills, experience and attitudes.
Interview in Gloucester
After the video interviews, if we want to progress your application you will be asked to an interview in Gloucester to meet us in person and see the boat. Some positions will require a trial day. You will be advised of a decision shortly afterwards.
Successful Candidates Start 23rd March 2020
If you are successful and gain a position on board with us then you must be available to move in on Sunday 24th March to start on Monday 25th March 2020. Full training will be provided in person and online.
